By car

30' to 45':
this is the time it takes to reach Florence city centre. There are car parks all around the town. As parking can be very expensive, an alternative is to take a train from Sieci station (5 minutes away) to the central station in Florence, Santa Maria Novella

by train:

There is a good train connection from FLORENCE SANTA MARIA NOVELLA station to SIECI. Local trains leave nearly every half hour. The journey takes about 15 - 20 mins.

by bus:

SITA buses from Florence to SANTA BRIGIDA. There is a SITA bus stop 150m down the road, the stop is called PONTE  di SERRAVALLE. There are about 3 buses in the morning, 3 around midday and 3 in the evening.

FROM PISA AIRPORT
Leaving the airport, take the dual carriageway FI-PI-LI. Come off this road at the second turning for SCANDICCI/AUTOSTRADA (motorway): Take the A1 motorway following the signs for FIRENZE/ROMA.

FROM A11 MOTORWAY (FIRENZE MARE) OR A1 (BOLOGNA)
When you get to FIRENZE NORD (Florence North), continue along the A1 following the signs to ROMA. Come off the motorway at FIRENZE SUD (Florence south).

After the toll at Firenze Sud, follow the directions to FIRENZE. Continue as far as the traffic lights. (Do NOT take the first turning to Pontassieve).

t the traffic lights, turn right following the signs to Pontassieve/Forlì, (Via Generale dalla Chiesa). Go straight along this road.
The river Arno will be on your right.
You will go through the following villages, Girone, Anchetta, Compiobbi, Ellera, Le Falle.

When you get to SIECI, turn left at the first traffic lights towards Santa Brigida, MOLINO DEL PIANO, Doccia. Go under the railway bridge and continue for about 2 km. Do not take the right-hand turning to Molino del Piano, continue towards Olmo/SANTA BRIGIDA.

After about 3 km, you will come to a sign for IL FORNELLO/IL COLLE, turn right and after about 200m, you will have arrived: Our house is the first on the right at VIVAIO GAMBERAIA.
