Apartments: the Stone Cottage
We have converted the barn into a stone cottage, which reflects  the traditions of Tuscan farmhouses.
The main door of this portion of the barn opens into the living room with a
terracotta floor and a stone fireplace. It contains a dining area with a wood
country dresser, table and chairs and a sitting area with a very comfortable,
new, sofa bed and armchairs, television and coffee table.
The fireplace is fitted with a wood burner with a hot air fan for which we can
provide the wood. The cottage also has LPG gas-fired central heating.
A small, well-lit, modern kitchen leads off from the living room with its own door leading to the outside and a small private garden for the use of our guests.
A complete bathroom with shower and washing machine also leads off from the living room.
A flight of terracotta and wrought iron stairs lead up to the open-plan
sleeping area. Two big windows give a view on the garden outside and the
surrounding hills.
It contains a walk-in, built-in wardrobe, a big, double bed ,
2 bedside tables and lamps, a dressing table and mirror, a single bed, a wicker
armchair and a writing desk and chair.
The barn sleeps from 1 to 5 people with the possibility of a travel cot.
